I’m a children’s author and zoologist who loves sharing the wonders of the natural world. You can discover my natural history books for children full of fascinating animal facts and science stories, or learn how I support publishers and media through my natural history consultancy work. My research background helps make every story as accurate and exciting as possible.

I completed my PhD at Cambridge University before working as a scientist, professional science communicator, as well as a journalist and researcher for the BBC. Today, I work behind the scenes at the Natural History Museum, London.
